KabukLaw needed a referrral system integrated within the website. The design process was broken down into a series of user experience diagrams as instructions for the Lead Programmer.

Scenario 1a
Client is presented with a new feature- Refer another lawyer
User is logged in, and has never referred a client in the past. The client clicks the `Refer a Client` button where the user is directed to the “Referral” page.
Scenario 1B
Client is presented with the Refer a Client Form
Logged-in Lawyer user’s “Referrals” page contains the tab options “Refer A Client” / “Clients I have referred” / “Clients referred to you”. Lawyer is first required to input the name of the Lawyer they are referring a client to. The referred lawyer must be a lawyer in the system (it is possible to refer yourself if you are a lawyer).
Scenario 1C
Client has successfully Referred a Client to Another Lawyer. The form is completed. The completed HTML form is populated on the referral pages of minimum 2 users: The referred lawyer and the lawyer who has referred the client. The completed form is also sent to the client’s referral page if the client exists with the referenced email address.
Scenario 1D
Upon clicking “Refer another Client”
The form is reset to its original state and the user is able to refer another client. ‘Clients I have referred’ is set to 1.
Scenario 2a
Lawyer examines clients referred to another lawyer. Lawyer clicks through to the “Referral” page then navigates to the “Clients I have referred” tab where a history of referred clients is populated.
Scenario 3a
Lawyer examines clients referred to Himself and finds empty. Lawyer clicks through to the “Referral” page then navigates to the “Clients referred to you” tab where the user is confronted with no referrals.
Scenario 4A
Client Examines Lawyers referred to them. Referred Lawyer, the referring lawyer and the date are layed out in a table with the option of clicking through to the referred lawyer`s profile page.
