The Drivers Project aims to see the sport of racing through the visor of the driver... or hardcore fan. TDP was started by 2 brothers, one a racing fanatic, the other a graphic designer. They launched thedriversproject.com in 2016 from an apartment in Toronto, and people kinda’ liked it. Their dad was asked to join as if he could say no. It started as a concept of a new kind of racing site, with Jeff on the road taking editorial style photos, and Daryl interviewing the drivers about topics only other fanatics would know. One-time Sprint Car driver, Daryl Turford is the Editor & Chief, one of the founders, and the brand is his idea. One-time Super-modified driver Peter Turford is a key content contributor providing knowledge of the history of the sport and its impact on today. Sedan driver Jeffrey Turford is the Art Director, he handles the brand and photography. Don’t expect an update every day, The Drivers Project is our ongoing project, and we’ll add to it when we can.
